How to Measure?
For the most accurate fit, use a soft measuring tape and wear lightweight clothing while measuring.
Height
Stand straight against a wall. Place a ruler or flat object horizontally on top of your head and mark where it touches the wall. Measure from the floor to the mark.
Chest / Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, passing the tape under your arms and across your shoulder blades. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Shoulder Width
(Measure from the back)
Stand naturally with your shoulders relaxed. Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other shoulder, following the natural curve across your upper back.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, typically located above your belly button and below your rib cage. Do not pull the tape too tight.
Sleeve Length
Start at the edge of your shoulder where the arm begins and measure down to your wrist while keeping your arm slightly bent.
Length (BACK)
Measure from the back
Stand naturally with your back straight. Place the measuring tape at the base of your neck, where the jacket collar would sit, and measure straight down the center of your back to your preferred jacket length.
Keep the tape straight and close to your body while measuring.
Tip: If possible, ask someone to take this measurement for you for better accuracy.
Measuring Tips
- Use a flexible measuring tape.
- Keep the tape level and parallel to the floor.
- Measure over lightweight clothing for best results.
- If your measurements fall between sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
- For leather jackets, allow a little extra room if you plan to wear layers underneath.
